Service Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of service

Furthrive Mobile Vets provides at-home veterinary care for domestic pets within Cambridge and surrounding areas. All visits are subject to availability and confirmation by our booking team. We aim to maintain clear time windows for each client and inform you promptly of any changes.

2. Fees and payment

Prices are stated before each visit and may vary depending on travel distance and materials used. Payment is due upon completion of the appointment via card or invoice transfer. Receipts are issued electronically unless you request a paper copy.

3. Cancellations and delays

If you need to reschedule or cancel a visit, please give at least 24 hours notice. Late cancellations may incur a small fee to cover travel costs. If we must postpone due to emergency calls or road conditions, a new time will be agreed as soon as possible.

4. Treatment and consent

By booking a visit, you authorise Furthrive Mobile Vets to examine and, where appropriate, treat your pet within the limits of the service described. You will be consulted before any procedure that involves medication or sedation. All records of treatment remain the property of the practice but you may request copies for personal reference.

5. Health and safety

We expect a safe working environment on arrival. Please secure other animals and inform us of any risks within the premises. Our team uses protective equipment and follows bio-security protocols set by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).

6. Liability

While every reasonable care is taken, we cannot be held liable for indirect losses arising from delays or circumstances beyond our control such as traffic, power failure, or sudden pet agitation. Our professional indemnity insurance covers all registered veterinary activities carried out under Furthrive Mobile Vets.

7. Complaints procedure

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please write to [email protected] with full details. We will acknowledge receipt within five working days and aim to respond with an outcome or next steps within fourteen days. Unresolved cases may be referred to the RCVS for independent review.

8. Data handling

Personal and animal data are processed in accordance with our Privacy & Data Policy (see pawguard.html). By using our services you acknowledge this approach and grant permission for necessary data handling related to your appointments.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
